Went To See Fast And Furious
Posted by: Sean | Posted on: April 15th, 2009 | 0 Comments
Tonight i went to see the new Fast And Furious film. I liked the film, it turned out better than i thought it might of. It has basically gone back to the original storyline, its less like the third film and is more like a continuation of the first. The third film 'Tokyo Drift' was really overboard, i enjoyed it but not the best at all.
In this new film its full of action. I like the way the cars are not all out with the paint work, i prefer it when the cars actually look normal and not like a 'boy racer' car, when you put stupid colours and racing stripes on a car i think it makes it look cheap.
Also Vin Diesel is back in this film, i think all of Vin Diesel's films are great, and to have him back in this film makes it more interesting. And once again it looks like they have left the film open for another, although there is no word if there will be, there will still be an opening if they decide to make one.
The only problem i had with the film was that the night i decided to go on was student night, which although its great since i get a discount i forgot the fact that everyone decides to go that night and i ended up having to sit at the very front row where you basically have to slouch back in the seat to be able to see the film, even though my seat was terrible i still enjoyed the film.
Check out the trailer below, it looks great.
CCTV Web Cam

Imagine setting up a CCTV sytem in your home, but instead of using the traditional method of camera connected to a recorder instead you use a webcam connected to your pc.
This is a great way of adding extra security to your home but in my opinion i would prefer to use the traditional method. I think that by connecting a webcam to your computer is fine however when you decide that you can stream it online to maybe a secure source, i think the risk becomes much greater. There is always a chance of somebody gaining access to your feed and perhaps they could know that you are not at home.
A woman in Florida done just this she set up a webcam in her home, however she was at work one day and decided to check in on her house and to her suprise when she flicked on the camera there were two men inside her house robbing it!
Imagine that, the chances of getting to witness that are slim. She quickly rang the police and they arrived to the house immediately and arrested the two people.
If i switched on my webcam i think i would freak out if i saw people roaming around my house, looking through my stuff.
Below is a video that the woman recorded of the two intruders inside her house, she was asked by the police to describe the events happening while she watched the live video, at the end you can see the police begin to enter the house.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine – Leaked Online

Here is a topic that i had meant to talk about a long time ago. The new X-Men film titled "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" was leaked by someone to the online community before the final production cuts had been applied, the studio said: "It was without many effects, had missing and unedited scenes and temporary sound and music,".
The studio is worried that by people downloading this illegal version of the film that since it is uncomplete that they might not enjoy it fully, and therefore they might recommend to there friends not to go see it, this could have a major impact on the box office profits.
The FBI are investigating the case to find out who exactly stole and leaked the advanced copy of the film, they have many different techniques on how they will attempt to track down the person who released it, one way is by reading the Digital Watermark, the studio said that they mark each bit of there conent that they give out so that they can track it down to the source if such a case happens like this one.
In my opinion if you watch the advanced copy it will just ruin the fun of seeing the final version when it is released on May 1st, its not that long too wait and even if you did watch the illegal copy you should go see the film when it is released even just to see how much you missed out on.
I am really looking foward to seeing this film when it finally comes out and even though it is available to download at torrent sites i will just wait to see the final polished version, seeing this early version is just like if you were reading a book, if you skip to the end when you just begin it you will most likely not bother reading the rest of it, instead just be patient and read the full book and eventually you will see the full picture and enjoy it even more.
Here is a trailer for the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" film, due out may 1st 2009:
