April 2009 Review
Posted by: Sean | Posted on: May 13th, 2009 | 0 Comments
I should have posted this a while back around the start of May but as per usual i either keep forgetting too or get preoccupied with something else!
In march the total number of unique visits to this blog that i had was 782. Some might say that it is not a lot but i think it is brilliant since i have really only started to embrace the concept of blogging.
In march i posted a total of 29 posts, making that almost one a day. Last month (April) however i only made 20 posts :( There is no excuse for this, i had set out the task of trying to keep posting more regulary to this blog. I have now begun to slip back to my old ways, however i am still posting more than i did last year!
Even though last month i only mad 20 posts, i still managed to have an increase of traffic to this blog :D In the month of april i received 851 unique visits with a total of 1185 page views :) Not bad considering i posted less!
Here are all off the posts that i made during the month of April 2009:
- Samsung SyncMaster 2233bw Monitor Review
- So What Am I Up To?
- Driving Lessons
- uStream's New Design
- I Bought A 22" Monitor
- One Year Of Wordpress
- The Harry Potter Collection
- Summer Break On The Horizon
- Google Chrome
- Went To See Fast And Furious
- CCTV Web Cam
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Leaked Online
- Its That Time Of Year
- New Theme Live
- New Theme Goes Live Tomorrow
- Advertisements
- Spam
- Easter Break
- YouTube Redesign
- Consistency
Also last month i made a great improvement to this blog, i completely revamped the look of the site by getting a new theme and logo :D Also i celebrated one year of using wordpress! WooHoo, wasnt much of a celebration, its just mad to think that i have being using this blogging platform for that long and have now only finally decided to take the whole blogging concept a bit more serious.
Also last month i made a personal investment of buying a new 22" monitor for my desktop :D
So almost a 9% increase in traffic from the month of March to April, not bad!
Since my summer break from college is almost here i will begin to have more free time, i will be then able to focus more on my online interests, which of course include this blog.
Also on another note, people have now begun to subscribe to my RSS feed :d currently i have 13 subscribers, not bad, it is a great way to keep updated with my latest posts, when i finally get to make them :D
So, you can subscribe to my RSS feed in two ways, the first is if you have a Feed Reader such as google reader, and now a second way which i have just set up and that is by subscribing to my feed through e-mail! Whenever a new post is made you will get it sent straight to your e-mail account. So the two links are available below :D Go on you know you want to subscribe ;)

So today i had my first exam, it was in operating systems. I thought it went really well. I am fairly confident that i have passed and gotton a decent mark. We had to do 3 questions, the first was compulsory and then you had to do two more out of the three remaining.
I knew all of the questions, or at least the majority of each of the 4 questions. So now i have one exam down and 5 more to go :D
I have two days off now to revise for my next few exams.
First Exam Is Tomorrow
Posted by: Sean | Posted on: May 11th, 2009 | 0 Comments
So tomorrow is my first exam out of my 6 exams this summer. The exam i have tomorrow is in operating systems. I have almost passed this module already. I have passed by compensation because i have 35% achieved so far, but i would rather pass the exam with over 40% so that i can use my compensation passes on other exams.
Basically you can pass by compensation on 2 exams, as far as i know :D so i am hoping that i do not need to pass by compensation on any of my exams but it is always great to have the option there to be able to use it when you most need it :D
I do not want to have to repeat an exam this summer as i did last summer :( i find that the thought of having to do an exam during your summer break, tends to play in the back of my head. So that is why this summer i want to have all my exams passed first time round :D
