Over the past few weeks i have noticed that my broadband connection has become very prone to turning on and off. It is really beginning to get on my nerves. I could load a web-page and then read the page or watch a video that is on that page, but then i would go to click onto another page and then get the ‘Page cannot be found’ message which indicated my bloody internet has gone down!

I would then have to wait for the router to reboot which takes a few minutes and then hope that it will stay connected for a while, but most of the time it will disconnect within the next hour!

I have tried so many different things to get this fixed and nothing has worked, i have phoned up Eircom many times to try and get it fixed but they say they dont know what causes it to happen and once before when i rang up the man said sure why would you want the internet to be working at 2am! And i kind of just thought, first of all it is none of your business why i want to be on the internet at that time, and secondly i am paying for a service and it is not being provided the way it should be, and they wont even offer a discount on the months broadband because of the inconvience that they cause by not having the broadband working all the time Frown

I replaced the router at one stage and still had the same problem so i am out of ideas! I know other people are expierencing problems with eircoms broadband lately, i think it is time i ring them up again and keep doing it until they do something about it!
