MTV have refused to play Lady GaGa’s new music video “Telephone” on their channel! Their claims were that the video was too “Raunchy”
.
To be honest now the video is nowhere near as “Raunchy” as other video that MTV play, many videos on music channels have complete nudity in them and yet they still get played! It makes no sense.
The music video for “Telephone” is set in a prison, the video is nine and a half minutes in length! Which is crazy. But I don’t think it is bad enough to be banned from television.
The video was eventually released online on Thursday (11th March) morning and by Thursday night it had received over 1.5 million views
!
Now the video currently has over 13 million views and is still rising!
The video has a lot of references to different shows such as the classic batman television shows when a fight breaks out the animated words pop up on screen. Also the getaway car that Beyoncé and Lady GaGa use is the “Pussy Wagon” that is in the Kill Bill films.
Below is the full “Telephone” music video..
