World Champion F1 Driver, Lewis Hamilton

The last race of the Formula 1 grand prix 2008 was a nail biting one. Hamilton had to come in 5th place or higher in order to become the world champion.

Just before the race was schelduled to start it suddenly started to rain, it was completely unpredictiable, the beginning of the race was put back for 10 minutes in order to allow the teams to make any necessary changes to there cars to make them cope with the wet conditions.

It was an extremly tense few laps at the start because they potentially make the result of the entire race.

Hamilton started forth on the grid.

A few laps before the end of the race the rain was starting to pick back up, it made a very difficult decison on all the drivers weather ot not they should pit for intermediate tyres.

Hamilton decided to pit and then when he rejoind the race he was in fifth just after Timo Glock who decided to stay out on dry tyres. Then as a complete shock to everyone on the last lap Sebastian Vettel overtook Hamilton putting Hamilton into 6th which would have lost him the world champion status.

Ferrai began to celebrate there victory since Hamilton had been knocked out of the win, this would of made Felipe Massa the World Champion.

However Ferrai’s celebration was shortlived as moments later Timo Glock’s pace began to decrease due to the increasing rainfall, this gave Hamilton the gap he needed to get back into 5th and grab the world championship status.

Although hamilton did not come first in this last race of the season it gave him the points he needed to become the overall winner. The race winner was Felipe Massa

In conculsion it was a brilliant nail biting race with a desevring overall winner, Lewis Hamilton. He is now the youngest World Champion F1 Driver.

Its always great to know that you have you own name.com because it is usually a hard thing to get.

So, what’s new in iTunes 8 you might ask?

Well there is loads of new features, such as:

You can now download HD TV-Shows from the iTunes store, although HD is not new to the store it is new to the TV-Shows. Also apple have created a brand new way for you to browse through your library, you can now view your song’s by there album artwork in a grid.

Also they have a new visualizer which looks great, it now has 3D image’s:

But the best bit of this new update for iTunes i think has to be “Genius”. Genius is a new feature which will enhance your experience with you music. You simply set up Genius and the when you are flicking through your songs on iTunes and you hear a song you like, and you want to hear more like it, you simply click the Genius button and iTunes compares your library and makes a playlist of songs that sound similar to the song you are listening to (it’s great). genius helps you rediscover music that you may have forgotten about.

Apple have also updated there ipod touch. It now has a new contoured stainless steel design, and best of all it now has built in speakers with volume control on the sides. They have also upgraded the battery life on the touch, it can now play 36 hrs of music or 4 hrs of video. Also they have dropped the price of it, it now starts from just $229 (€164)

Also Apple have released a new ipod nano, it is the thinnest ipod they have ever made.

It has great new features which include the new Genius feature that apple have made. The screen is now shaped into i kind of oval shape and has a full sized colour screen just like the last nano. The accelerometer feature that can be found in the iPod Touch and iPhone can now be found in this new nano.

When you are going through your library you can now flick your ipod onto its side and view the artwork or watch a movie full screen, and also play games with the new accelerometer.

Also they have used this feature to enhance the party shuffle feature, sometimes when you are going through your songs you don’t know what to listen to, so if you simply shake the nano it enters into party shuffle mode and plays a random song from you library.

Also there is a variety of new colours available, and prices start at just $149 (€107)

So my new site is: The EntertainmentClam

After a while i began searching on the internet to see if this happened to anybody else and it has happened to a few, but there was no answer on how to fix this so that the theme preview section would work.

A few days ago i was editing another site of mine when i wanted to preview loads of different theme’s so the quickest way would be to use the wordpress theme previewer however it would not work so i had to apply each theme which takes longer. So i got bored of continuously applying and reapplying the different themes so i went around the wordpress setting’s trying to find a way to fix the theme preview section.

And success i managed to find out how to fix it, if you go into the general setting’s in wordpress there is two boxes one says: WordPress address (URL) and the other says: Blog address (URL). I found that if you change the two of these website addresses to be the same then the theme previewer would work perfectly, it is strange but i dont know why it wouldn’t work if they are different, but i am just happy i now have that feature working.

WOOO, Heroes is back this autumn for its third season, on Monday September 22nd.  Heroes is and unbelievable show, if you don’t watch it you should, its a sci-fi show about a select few people that have superhuman powers, Heroes. Of course there are good and bad heroes, the plot outline is brilliant it has you at the edge of your seat every night it is on, you are always eager to see the next episode.

I cant wait to see the new season, i have been waiting a while now to see it, unfortunately the writers strike forced the second season to be cut short but i believe that they will definitely make up for lost time with this new season, The season premier will begin with a 2 hour episode.

So after a while i thought that maybe something might have gone wrong with the installation that lunarpages done when they installed Wordpress onto this blog, so i still had the files from wordpress on my old server so i decided to copy some of them over to this server, so the folder i decided to replace on this server was called wp_includes, so i began to transfer the files over which took a while, while i was transferring the files over my website went down because of syntax errors, but i let the transfer finish and when it finished my website went back up so i was happy it went back, and by replacing that folder with the old one i managed to get my rss to work again i went over to feedburner and signed the rss feed on my website up and it worked perfectly so i am happy with that.
