13″ MacBook Pro Case

Two weeks ago i bought my MacBook Pro, once it was delivered i decided i would have to buy a case for it before i attempt to bring it out anywhere apart from my house. I looked around online at a few cases for the 13" MacBook Pro and found a lot of cases but once i read the reviews people were saying that a certain case had to be bought for a MacBook Pro since it is a different shape than a regular Notebook ( i assume it is the thickness ). I wasn’t sure whether this was true that a certain case had to be bought, but i didn’t want to take the risk buying a case and then having to go out and buy another because it wasn’t the right type. So last week i ended up going onto the apple website and having a look at their cases, they are all really expensive, and i just wanted a sleeve, something which would protect the MacBook while it is in my bag. I went for a mid-range priced case, it came to just under €40 ( €39.95 to be exact! ), fairly steep for a case, but the way i think of it is, i spent over €1,000 on the MacBook, why buy a cheap case! The case i went for is black, and has a really soft inside, it is like cotton wool! The last case which i bought which was for my Netbook was a very poor quality material, it was the same inside as it was on the outside. You can also get the case in a few other colours and sizes so you don't have to just go for black, like me. I just like to have everything matching and since everything else i own such as my TV and computer are black, i thought i might as well make the case match too. Make your own iPhone ringtones

Since I will be getting an iPhone soon I have been looking up how to go about doing certain things such as setting multiple email accounts up, I only recently found out you could do that. Anyway I noticed that by default with your iPhone you can only use set ringtones that come with the phone, you cannot just simply select a song from your library and use it as your ringtones, apple probably done this to encourage you to buy ringtones from them. Anyway after a while of looking around I found out how to make your own ringtones for free from your iTunes library and it is really simple. Here is what to do, firstly right click the song you want to make a ringtone from and choose get info, then click options and set the start time to for example 0.00 and then the end time to 0.30 and then click ok. The reason we set it to 30 seconds is because that is the maximum length ringtone apple allow, which is stupid! Next right click the song and choose create AAC version, then when that is finished go into the folder where that song is saved to, you can find the folder path by clicking get info on the song. Then rename the file extension of the song you converted from .m4a to .m4r then just drag it into iTunes and then onto your Phone, simple!

The next iPhone

The next iPhone that apple should be releasing was misplaced by an apple employee! The apple employee accidentally left the new iPhone behind him when he left a bar in California.

The main features of the new iPhone are as follows:

1. The most notable difference in the new iPhone is the aluminium sides around the iPhone.
2. 2 Cameras, one front facing camera and a larger camera on the back of the iPhone
3. Flash is also now available for the camera on the back.
4. New Micro-Sim card ( Currently it is just a regular sim card )
5. Higher resolution screen, 960x640 but with a slightly smaller screen size.
6. A second microphone, located at the top of the iPhone.
7. Separate buttons for volume, also all buttons are now Metallic.

The internal components have now been made smaller to allow for a bigger battery, supposedly 16% larger than beforehand.

When I first saw the new look for this iPhone I didn't really like it, but now after seeing a few different picture of the iPhone 4.0 compared to the iPhone 3gs, I have to say it looks really nice :D !

I have always wanted to get myself an iPhone, and now that it is available on more networks here in Ireland ( Vodafone & o2 ) I will be getting one, I decided to wait until apple announce their next iPhone, I knew they would likely announce one this summer as they usually wait until then.

Hopefully this new iPhone that has been leaked online comes out soon!

Apple have not specifically said that it was an iPhone that they lost, they simply put it that "a device that belongs to apple" is in the possession of GIZMODO.
