Finally Got My .ie Domain

Yesterday, the .ie domain that i have been waiting on, for the last 4 weeks has finally come through. I had sent off a letter documenting what was going to be on the site, and they said they did not receive it!
I then was told that i could have e-mailed in the info for the application, i didnt know this! So i sent it in by e-mail and by the next day it was up and running :D
If only i had thought of ringing up IEDR about it sooner. When i rang up they were great to talk to also, there was no waiting on hold or anything, straight through to a person, not a computer :D
Anyway the domain i have will remain anonymous for the moment, as there is still a lot of work to do on it, and there is no point ruining the surprise! :D
A Good Domain Catch

Over the past few years i had always wanted to buy my own domain address, i used to just toy around with free web hosting and the thing that really got to me was that you have so many limitations with going for free hosting. There is always banners on the websites and then pop ups everywhere it is a nightmare.
About 3 years ago i decided i wanted to buy My own domain name however if i was to buy one it would simply have to be my name .com, so i went to buy this domain and i found that it was allready in use, this really annoyed me. But now 3 years later i have finally been able to buy it.
The domain i wanted to buy is www.seanlucas.com before i got this domain some bidding company grabbed it and they started to contact me and because they knew i already owned www.seanlucas.net They were asking for nearly $1000 for it, i know its my name but i would never splash out that much cash for it. So instead of buying that site i decided to hold back for a while and i think by me doing that i saved well over $900 i only had to pay the standard registraion fee of $8.99 for it which i think is just the right amount.
Its always great to know that you have you own name.com because it is usually a hard thing to get.
